With production sites at the universities of Aachen, Bonn, Düsseldorf, and Cologne, WGGC combines expertise across institutions, providing a collaborative advantage for research in genomics, oncology, plant sciences, microbiology, and beyond. de.NBI – German Network for Bioinformatics Infrastructure

The de.NBI provides the necessary infrastructure for processing, analysing and storing large data sets that arise in current life science research and imparts the corresponding skills.

de.NBI has been a distributed academic network since 2015, which was initially funded as a BMBF project and is now being continued under the coordination of Forschungszentrum Jülich. We offer a wide range of bioinformatics services, training courses, specialised compute resources (de.NBI Cloud) and an industry forum for the life sciences. At European level, we constitute the German Node of ELIXIR.
